WATER CRIMES project to hold its final event

On July 7, 2017, the WATER CRIMES project will hold a special session during the 10th World Congress on Water Resources and Environment, "Panta Rhei", which takes place in Athens, Greece.

The "Special Session on WATER CRIMES" will present the outcomes of 18 months of work and research on water crime-related definitions, inventories, threats and risks, scenarios and outlooks.

This is the final event of the WATER CRIMES project, which is co-funded by the Internal Security Fund of the European Union. The project has developed the first strategic analysis of crimes against water resources in Europe, and outlines policy recommendations.

This final event is expected to attract not only experts from government institutions, academia, research institutions and international organisations from EU Member States, but interested stakeholders from other regions as well.

A detailed programme of the Special Session can be found here, and you can visit the event website at: http://ewra2017.ewra.net/.
